Create Great Stories is created to give authors a safe, supportive environment where they can take courses in writing, experiment, develop their stories, give and receive useful feedback, and publish their completed works.

In addition, there are discussion forums to ask questions and give answers that are focused on learning the art and craft of creating great stories.

Community Groups provide a specialized space within the site. These groups allow writers to post stories only available to their group. They have their own discussion forums so members can discuss areas of specific interests. There’s even the ability to post blog entries on subjects the writer cares about. These groups are either open for anyone with interest, or in some cases such as schools and home-schooling groups, restricted to only certain members. Groups are a great way to work directly with peers and improve everyone’s stories together.
